We are delighted to share some exciting news about a new chapter in our school’s journey.
In the coming months, our school will be transitioning to a larger nearby site on Biddenham Turn and adopting a new name: St Francis of Assisi Primary School. This transition reflects not only a change in location, but a renewal of our mission to provide a nurturing, faith-filled environment where every child is supported to flourish academically, spiritually, and personally.
- Brand-new Early Years area created with our community in mind.
- Bespoke science lab
- Creative hub for music, art, drama and design technology
- Outdoor facilities including a woodland area, pond and gardens
- In addition to these new spaces, the current classrooms will be decorated and designed to enable your children to flourish.
Inspired by the values of St Francis of Assisi — humility, compassion, and care for all creation — we are confident this move will strengthen our school community and open new doors for your children’s learning and development.
St Francis of Assisi will be a new Primary school for Biddenham and the surrounding area. We will be based on a large school site, with a fantastic range of indoor and outdoor facilities.
This move is both a practical and purposeful step. Our site offers better facilities, more space for children to learn and play, and a setting that supports long-term growth for our school. The renaming is part of a wider vision to reflect our evolving identity, rooted in faith and service and highlighting the importance of sustainability and supporting the environment around us.
We will remain within the OLICAT Schools family (Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust)
