SEND Code of Practice 2015
This document identifies four areas of need:
-
Communication and Interaction
-
Cognition and Learning
-
Social, Emotional and Mental Health
-
Sensory and / or Physical Needs
The Code of Practice provides statutory guidance relating to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
From Early Years through to Year 6, we use the 'Assess, Plan, Do, Review' cycle to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and improve practice through individualised outcome pathways. This includes high quality teaching and provision to meet the needs of the child.
Home learning
Please find website links and ideas for your child's home learning. Please regularly check the website. New resources and ideas will be added.
