Every child is included in our school family. We do this by developing and educating, through Catholic values, all those who join our school community. We get to know each individual child, making sure their education is personalised to their needs. We want all children to become confident and highly valued members of our society and our approach enables them to achieve their full potential.

SEND Code of Practice 2015

This document identifies four areas of need: 

• Communication and Interaction
• Cognition and Learning
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health 
• Sensory and / or Physical Needs

The Code of Practice provides statutory guidance relating to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

From Early Years through to Year 6, we use the 'Assess, Plan, Do, Review' cycle to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and improve practice through individualised Learning Plans. This includes high quality teaching and provision to meet the needs of the child.
